Konnect School of Dance based in Smallfield, Surrey, Formally known as Whitesides School of Dance. Originally formed in 1988 as Burstow School of Dance, it became Whiteside’s School of Dance in 1999 after former principal, Sarah Whiteside took ownership in 1997. Alice and Abi (former pupils of Whiteside’s School of Dance) have recently taken it on in September of 2021 and renamed the School in April 2022.
Konnect pupils range in age from 3 to adult. Konnect School of Dance is open to those wishing to dance as a hobby as well as those who wish to go pursue dance as a career. Whatever the ambition or ability of the pupil, we have suitable dance classes available where every pupil is valued and treated equally.
We have street teams Konnect and Konnected that compete nationally and are very successful, picking up multiple awards since they started in 2017 coached by Abi Brooke.
